Debbie McDonald grew up in Mobile, AL, the youngest of seven children. She has many fond memories of spending time over the bay in the old cinder block house!

Living in Daphne, AL gives much access to the Eastern Shore and Mobile Bay with the terrific view of the water and beautiful sunsets! She is a wife, mother and pet owner. She has worked as an Educator for 32 years!  Debbie began her writing career in college at the University of South Alabama when her essay was chosen to be included in an English class textbook. She received a check for $25 and a copy of the textbook. It was a highlight of her college career! Over thirty years later, life’s experiences led her to write her first book of romantic fiction with more to come in the Over the Bay Series!
